well, this has been an ok week so far. but before we dig into that, lets recap thanksgiving...

it was a thursday




aaron came down from harvard, and i'm glad to know that his accent hasn't changed.
gregory came down from kansas city, and i'm glad to know that he is still alive.

now for this week: (ka-ching)

i got an 87 on that test in english that i thought i dominated on. boooooooooo. I'M SO HUNGRY RIGHT NOW I COULD..... WAIT FOR MY MOM TO GET HOME TO COOK SOMETHING.

OFF TO LESSONS

all region jazz is way cool

not really, but i did get first band first chair again, and i beat my point spread from last year. last year 2nd chair was only 30 points behind me, this year it was 130 behind me! yay! maybe i'll do better at all state jazz this year........ that still makes me angry...................... we also had our thanksgiving meal today in the cafeteria.......

IF THERE WERE A FIGHT BETWEEN BROWN GRAVY AND WHITE GRAVY, WHO WOULD WIN?

i think we all know the answer, which is BROWN gravy... it was really a silly question, i mean, if white gravy won, then that would've meant that brown gravy would have lost... and that is impossible, so clearly the victor is brown gravy. here's a list of reasons why i like brown gravy...

2. its cutting edge
3. it brings joy to millions of people
4. it kicks white gravy's biscuit....

prelude from a good day

yes today was a good day... last night was a good night, also... had Dempsey, bill, derek, stephen, mason, kelli, celeste, melanie, and of course lauren over to hang out... we had tons of fun! great movie (history of the world part 1) and a good time hangin out...

today is 3 weeks!

went and watched a movie at laurens tonite, it was great! definately a fun time.

thursday is all region jazz tryouts... i'm gonna try and beat my points spread from last year of 30. will i do it??????? i hope so... i didn't really practice much last year, doing much better this year.. we'll see.. stay tuned

well, lets start with yesterday:

YESTERDAY WAS not cool
for the most part it was ok, except for the time between 12:00pm and 1:30pm. i felt HORRIBLE. i've never felt quite so worthless in my entire life. and then, even after failing horribly, a certain special someone made my day better, even though it was her i'd let down. looking back, it makes today better knowing that. although i wish i hadn't failed so miserably.

today was a good day! apparently, its not good to tell jokes in front of lauren while she's eating/drinking. first, i get blindsided by a fog of sprite after some comment i'd made friday night, and today telling one of my crazy jr. high stories i was drenched in chicken noodle soup. she says its never happened before, but i think i know whats going on here...

i was thinking, as many have thought before...

1. why, when we are picked to win, do we always lose every football game? jeez! we lost to frikin greenbrier!

i was at the airport today dropping off my aunt, and i saw a KLM sign. i almost messed myself down both legs. anyway.

why dont i like KLM? because i flew KLM once, on a connecting flight from Frankfurt, Germany, to Amsterdam, Holland. What should have been a normal 45 min. connecting flight, we had about 45 min of torture inside a chicken coop of a twin engine aircraft. i'm not sure if it was a turboprop or a jet, or some combination of the 2, it was rough, noisy, and FILTHY. but we had an awesome tunaish sandwich and fruit cup, and strangely enough, mountain dew! i almost.. (well, you get the idea) when i saw that because apparently europe is in denial of its heavenly existence. the can was really old school too. small mouth and everything- i felt like a kid again.
