AfterThought summary

well, tonite was it. our final apperance. we closed the first set with a song called "St. Thomas"- a nice little latin chart. feat Joe Vick on bass, Dave Rogers on set, Will Dougherty on piano, and myself on soprano. we then opened the 2nd set with "A Sleepin' Bee", and as well rocked with that one. same group, cept for Michael Vick on set. oh glory.

oh so many stories....

i've been back a week and still not much on where i went. i know.. i'll get there. i still haven't put all my pictures on my computer yet, but when i do.........

what now announcements

1. first i'd like to thank everyone (whitnie) for filling in for me, it is much appreciated. europe was awesome and it really took a load off knowing my webpage was in good hands... not really, but that sounded good
2. this is where it gets very very sad. monday night will be the final apperance of the Will Dougherty/Jon Phillips Experience at the AfterThought jazz bar in Little Rock. i know, i'm crying too. Everyone should come on out and support us for our last concert together. gosh it seems like yesterday we were sitting in the audience talking about how cool its gonna be if we get to play. very emotional
3. Stephen, Dempsey, Bill, Derek, and myself all made the elusive position of Section Leader! whooooooooo hooo.

yes, i do. Europe was great, but i missed my Country. So we'll do this how i did.

1. London- cool. the underground was good, the food wasn't. i watched "Chicago" starring Brooke Shields - bueno. shower ran nothing but cold water.

i land at memphis international at 5 pm on julz 16th. it is fun here but i cant wait to go home. paris was awful. i was about readz to hop on a plane.$

oh, and about the london bombs. thez hit all around our hotel. we were at the kings cross station several times. i actuallz posted on here from a place not far from russel square, where i also watched chicago. we missed them bz about 24 hours. verz scarz.

cheerio, ole chaps! yes, i found an internet cafe in some back alley of london. i leave tomorrow morning at 5 am for paris. i'm about to go see chicago. i was going to see les miserables, but it would've set me back 80 bucks, so i decided to spend 20 and hit chicago. as tired as i am i'll probably fall asleep anyway, so whats the matter?

the food is ok here, minus the chef in a box [havent found the shift key here yet] i have seen a lot of cool stuff. big ben, rode the eye of london, castles etc...

hey, this is ______ Jon wanted me to post for him while he was in europe, but i rly dont know what to say so Chuck's gonna help me for these two weeks. Since according to Chuck the only two ppl that read this blog is him and will i rly dont know why jon's so concerned about me posting, but i will since i did tell him i would. As of now jon is sitting in an airplane in detroit about to take off......after an hour long or so delay, and early this morning while everyones asleep he will arrive in england. well thats rly all i have to say, until next time i guess. (next time ill try to think of something better to type, but dont count on it, lol)
