Worth it?

Ok heres the deal, I had to pay 2$ to ride a pep bus to alma...50 ppl was the minimum limit and only 35 signed up so i had to pay an EXTRA dollar. And i dont see the point in that so is it just me or is that cheap? By the way this is my first topic so if u think its crap get over it, it's my first one...
