A Delightful Day at The Library (Brought to You By The Letter L)
Yeah, well, I had to go do some research up at the ol' UCA library today for my English/Victorian Era paper today... And, no, I don't have anything better to do, thank you very much. So, as I was saying, I went up there, walked in, and I noticed how incredibly loud my joints (the parts where my bones come together... jeez, grow up, guys), pants, and backpack were as I nonchalantly strolled in and among the rows and rows of books. Really freaky and awkward. Oh well. So I looked up "gilbert sullivan" (my subject) and got the stuff: ML410.S95 663 1969, and ML410.S95 W76 2001. Dang. So found the L's and the N's... went to where they met.... and nothing. No M's to speak of. Half an hour and two floors later, I found the Music library behind the H's in the back corner of the first floor. Walked in, greeted by some poor college chick who got stuck working there on a Saturday at 1 in the afternoon, and made my way to the back and got to work.
Dang, I must have sneezed about 50 times while I was taking notes and stuff--they must line their books in asbestos or something. Anyway, I got my stuff and left. Got a Frosty™ at Wendy's©.
I hate libraries.
